Victoria’s House Transitional Housing

Two side-by-side Victorians in the Mission District had been used for years as senior housing. Vacant and dilapidated, OpenScope completely gutted and restored the buildings to provide a 44-bed residential care facility as temporary housing for those transitioning from institutionalized care to independent living arrangements.

Our scope included full architectural services from feasibility through construction administration on a complex project involving replacement of the foundation, accessibility upgrades, historic preservation, extensive waterproofing detailing, and the coordination of a complete team of structural, civil, landscape, food service and MEP consultants.
