Ocean Beach ADUs

Located one block from Ocean Beach, this coastal multifamily renovation leverages California’s ADU legislation to add six new accessory dwelling units at the ground floor of an existing apartment building. The project transformed underutilized space to increase housing capacity while maintaining the scale and character of the surrounding neighborhood.

In addition to the new ADUs, the scope included a comprehensive upgrade to the building and site. Improvements encompassed renovations to existing residential units on the upper floors, full façade rehabilitation, and replacement of the building’s elevator. At the rear of the property, the parking lot was reconfigured and enhanced with new landscaping and sidewalk improvements, improving both functionality and the pedestrian experience.
